about me

Learning IT by building it.

A little about me.

I’m building my career around IT support, networking and Linux administration, with cybersecurity as a major interest.

I enjoy working out what a symptom actually means. Sometimes a fault is in the network, sometimes it is a service setting, and sometimes it comes down to one file permission. Following that trail is the part I find rewarding.

I started with Raspberry Pi and web-server projects. That hands-on approach grew into a two-node Proxmox homelab where I can test, diagnose and document problems on systems I manage.

I have earned the CompTIA A+ certification and am currently studying for CompTIA Network+. I continue to develop my Linux, networking and troubleshooting skills through hands-on projects, with longer-term interests in systems administration and defensive security.

Working as a bar supervisor taught me to stay organised under pressure, listen carefully and communicate clearly with different people. I want to bring that same approach to IT support.

SECURITY LEARNING
  • Use TryHackMe and Hack The Box alongside my own infrastructure projects.
  • Explore how web applications expose information and how access controls affect systems.
  • Study ransomware behaviour and the methods researchers use to understand it.
  • Use Linux, networking and scripting as the foundations for further security work.
  • Communicate technical problems clearly in both English and Polish.
